the positivist ™ presents facts and data in the manner of positive economics rather than normative economics. We connect interesting dots but we don't draw conclusions. Our goal is simply to provoke thoughtfulness, to trailblaze and to raise guideposts that may indicate opportunities and risks.
Unlike much of the media or "think tank" research available today, we firmly avoid persuasion, hypocrisy, specious reasoning, relevance fallacies, red herrings, ad hominem attacks and tu quoque arguments. (Although, we sometimes illustrate these points utilizing the Socratic method.)
the positivist ™ gathers, assembles in a coherent manner, and presents publicly available data that often simply conflicts with, and sometimes absolutely contradicts, many narratives. But we leave it to keen readers to make of it what they will. No opinions are expressed, yet they remain entirely our own. Errors and omissions are unintentional, yet also entirely our own.
